Effective date: 20 May 2026. These Terms apply to the marketing website at www.theorigin.global.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the marketing website at www.theorigin.global ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and all applicable laws. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Origin Global Pvt Limited ("Origin", "we", "us", "our"), a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, having its registered office at PNO. 38 & 39, Guttala Begumpet, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana — 500081, India. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.
2. About the Site and Our Products
This Site is a public marketing and product-discovery website for the Origin family of products. Origin currently offers two products: (a) Origin Run (www.theorigin.run), an operations management platform for process manufacturing businesses; and (b) Origin Trade (www.theorigin.trade), a trading and deal management platform for physical commodity desks. Use of those products is governed by separate Customer Agreements entered into between Origin and each customer, which take precedence over these Terms with respect to any product functionality, data processing, or service levels.
3. AI-Powered Concierge Chat
The Site provides an AI-assisted concierge chat ("Concierge") to help prospective customers understand whether Origin's products are a fit for their business. Responses from the Concierge are generated with the assistance of large-language-model (LLM) technology operated by a third-party AI provider. Concierge output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer, representation, warranty, or contract. Any commercial commitment from Origin — including pricing, delivery timelines, or feature availability — must be confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of Origin. Origin is not liable for decisions made in reliance on Concierge output.
4. Contact & Callback Request Form
The Site provides a short form allowing you to request a callback from Origin's team. By submitting this form you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to share it. We will use the submitted information solely to follow up on your enquiry. Submission of the form does not create any obligation on Origin to respond within a specific time or to offer you any product or service.
5. Permitted Use and User Conduct
You may access and use the Site for lawful informational purposes only. You agree not to: (a) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Site's content or technology at scale; (c) use the Concierge or contact form to distribute unsolicited commercial communications or malware; (d) impersonate any person or entity; (e) interfere with the Site's security or availability; or (f) violate any applicable laws or regulations, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the Origin and Origin Run and Origin Trade names and marks, design, photographs, copy, source code, and graphics — is the exclusive property of The Origin Global Pvt Limited or its respective licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws including the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Copyright Act, 1957 of India. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from the Site without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites including our product sites (theorigin.run, theorigin.trade), partner sites, or reference material. We have no control over the content or practices of third parties and are not responsible for them. Visiting a third-party link is at your own risk and discretion. The presence of a link does not constitute an endorsement.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Origin expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be continuously available, free of errors, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Origin Global Pvt Limited and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and service providers shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if Origin has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, Origin's total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand only).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Origin Global Pvt Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. If you are accessing the Site from outside India, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
12. Force Majeure
Origin shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of any obligation under these Terms to the extent such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action, or failure of third-party infrastructure.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Origin with respect to your use of the Site, and supersede all prior discussions, representations, and agreements.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, product scope, or operating practices. The revised Terms will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
